When I'm not working, I need to do things to fill my free time, or else I'll get bored very quickly.

Over the past few years, I have spent more time than is sane on a bike, tooling around the midwest. I used to participate in the Heartland AIDSRide...Unfortunately, that event does not exist any longer. For a couple of years after that, I was on the steering committee for the HOPE Ride, a 4-day 300-mile tour across Northern Illinois. Now, I simply ride around town every now and then to stay in shape, and do the (much simpler than AIDSRides) MS 150 Ride.

I also play second base for the Hunter's Woods softball team.

Since I haven't done it since late 1999, SCUBA diving used to be a passion of mine, but I can't say that anymore. I am certified as a NAUI Rescue Diver. Maybe when my kids are older, they'll get into diving like I did, and then they and I can go out and dive some wrecks on the Great Lakes.
